Just wondering if there has been any further work done with the new zx10s? Any experimenting with head work or cam mods/swaps? Also, are there any plans of a sidewinder being made for the gen 4s?

ryanzx10, we don't really do engine work, we are more bolt on products to get your stock motor bike as fast as it can be.  We are in the process of producing full exhaust systems for that bike, we don't have an exact date yet, but it shouldn't be too much longer, just keep an eye on our website, as soon as we have them they will be on there.

Awesome. Do you have any dyno results with the full system? I'd like to know the improvement over the slip-on before I purchase the full system.

Thanks

Ryan,

We have done some dyno testing with the full system.  Kawasaki did such a great job with the factory headers on this bike that we weren't able to squeeze much more peak power out of the full system.  So you won't be seeing a huge jump in peak.  HOWEVER, we did make some very nice GAINS throughout the midrange that I think you would really enjoy!  I'll see if I can get the exact numbers/charts from the boss.

I gotcha. That'd be great if you could get me the charts.
Thanks

Is there going to be a sidewinder for the gen4 in the future?

Yes, there is one in the works, but we don't have a time frame on it just yet.

I know that normally Brock's doesn't offer map support for their slip-on exhaust but is there an exception with the new zx10 since there was an improvement in performance on the dyno with a slip-on on the vista kawasaki project bike? I would like to get the same map from that bike to run mr12.

Yes, we already have maps for the slip-ons.

Thanks for the link to the articles, lots of great info. I assume the your maps for this bike are for use with a guhl ecu with de-restriction but without a guhl fuel map programmed in the ecu correct?

ryanzx10, we have a specific flash that Brock has Guhl do for us that is designed to work with our maps, you will have to go through us to get that flash and be certain that our maps will work perfectly.

Correct. We leave the internal ECU fuel maps stock - this allows us the flexibility to update and e-mail our PCV map database to adapt for a varity of future changes: new fuel types, air cleaners, exhaust mods (conversion kits etc.) or any number of products... without the down time, hassle, or expense required to send the ECU in for a re-flash.
