I recently ordered a OEM clutch, and as I explained that my 1000 was a real clutch burner, the parts manager/local racer told me that a old clutch trick was to put TWO fibers along side each other to create a better grab from the clutch and add to the life span. Has anybody ever heard of this or maybe even tried it themselves? I Know I know, I need to just buy Brocks clutch cushion and hopefully that will get me to stop crying about burnt Cutches. (Still feeling the X-mas Crunch Brock, how about a Clutch cushion for X-mas)ha ha...

NO NO NO, never put two fibers together, install them the proper way. Better yet, like you said, you need one of Brock's clutch cushion kit's, you won't believe the difference.
