Had my bike tuned yesterday @ Attack Performance in Huntington Beach,CA.2011 Gen II,Stock motor(9450miles)with Brocks Short Meg,PC III,all short stacks,Sprint air filter,Alisyn 10w30 with Petron Plus,Shell 89 octane.Tuner said it was the most he'd ever seen on a stock motor Busa,I'm stoked!

PS...I thought all Busas came with 2 long/2 short stacks, mine came with all 4 long(factory screw up or?).

Thanks for everything Brock, you rock bro!
Jeff

WOW!  Very impressive Jeff!  And on on the SAE scale too!  Glad your happy with how everything turned out (I know I sure would be!).  I can only think of one other Gen 2 Busa that I know of that made as much stock.

Have fun, good luck!

Thanks Ben,I'm pretty stoked with the results.I've seen a lot in the 185-189 range(SAE)with a pipe, etc. so guessing most of the extra may have come with the addition of the short stacks,Sprint filter,Alisyn with Petron Plus, etc.(plus it was pretty rich when I took it in). This is my 3rd Busa in the last 13 years(after 30 years of Harleys),I'm hooked bro.

Thanks bro, have already been the turbo route the last time around and plan on pretty much leaving this one alone(maybe head work and cams,at the most a 1441 ).

Bought this new in '03 and went the RCC turbo,McINTOSH arm,etc.,etc.,etc. in '08.Parted it out in '11 to buy the '11 I have now,was a fun bike for a while but started being a money pit.

Great write up. I wish brock would not have gave up on the genII busa.
I would loved to have seen what he could have done with some of his drop in cams or even with one of his piston kits to show us what could have been done with simple mods. I live out west down the street from you in san diego I had a 14r that got 203 hp but seem most out here get about 200 on pump gas so in real terms seems the 14r's are only about maybe 10 more hp than the busa's. I traded my 14r in for a 2014 busa because I race allot and the 14s blow up way to easy. I know 10 people with 14's and 9 of them have blown up also for 1500 bucks in mods you can blow the 14 out of the water with easy. so been there done that won't do it again.

Davapors, we have far from given up on the mighty Hayabusa.  In fact, we have been working on complete package kits over the last 12 months to really give it some HP.  We are hoping to have those done in the near future.

If you have any specific questions in regards to our cams or potential motor combinations give us a call and we can answer them for you.
