I had a few problems fitting the system together. I think the end of the header pipe was slightly damaged. I did fix it with a pliers. The midpipe wouldn't fit into the header very well. Also the midpipe didn't fit in the canister at all. I had the ever so slightly bend the edges in to get it started in the can. I've installed exhausts on cars before and this was a minor job compared to that. So I wasn't upset in the least bit. Other than that its going together nicely!!! I still have to finish putting the bike back together. |

Took me awhile to put my exhaust on. Did it myself. Have never done any work to my bike like this before. Once I had my old system off, took me about 2 hours to put everything back together. Not bad. had no problems fitting pieces together though. WD-40 helped alot......

These ARE hand built systems.... The pre-assembly usually catches any minor fitting flaws off of the bike... which usually speeds up the actual assembly on the bike. I hope it wasn't too frustrating! If you believe anything could be fabricated incorrectly on the system, please call! We attack problems of this nature with vigor....at no additional cost to you ...while trying to minimize further hassle. Brock 937-298-6818

no I wan't too frustrated and I know how exhaust systems are supposed to fit and it was expected. I really enjoy the look of this exhaust and am sure the performance will out weigh as problems I had installing this beast!!!
thx for the great product!! |

Just wait til you fire that bad boy off for the first time with the Brock Hindle installed. You'll think the angels are singin' to ya in yer garage! I can't wait to see your post here after you get it buttoned up and fire 'er off. Hehehehe... What's even more impressive is when you roll hard on it after the install. Careful because the added power makes it even easier to loft the front wheel! Not that this is always a bad thing. |
