Hey Folks..I'm from Trinidad and Tobago ( West Indies)...I bought my baby (Haylee) this January..she's a 2006 Limited Edition Hayabusa. She came with a Complete Brocks Alien Head Exhaust, K&N air Filter, small air box mod and Pair Valves removed..I installed a Power Commander V and am currently in the process of installing a complete Dynatek 2000 ignition system...She really is a beauty however, I noticed that she surges/sputters/hesitate under 3000 RPM. I recently transferred ownership of the exhaust system with Brocks and am presently waiting on a Map from them...I am so excited, I can't wait to see what difference it will make.....from what I've read on this forum looks like I'll be so pleased with the Brocks Map...
Thanks Mark R.

Thanks guys....you people at Brocks Performance are the best. I received my Map together with the easiest installation instructions ever on Friday just two days after transferring registration of my Alien Head Exhaust. Excellent service I have never received such exceptional service from any other organisation. Keep up the good work guys... I have heard about your great customer service but now I am experiencing it for myself and I must say that I am very well pleased...I haven't installed the Map as yet but as soon as I do I will be letting you all know. I will be recommending you guys to all my friends here in Trinidad and the Caribbean..Thanks for the great service and PLEASE keep up the great work.
Thanks Mark R.

Loaded my new Brocks Map today, rode the bike and WOW. It never ran so smooth, no more hesitation/stutter below 3000 RPM. Finally I can breathe a sigh of relief, I'v been battling with this problem since January...thank you all at Brocks Performance....
Thanks Mark R.

hey Steve, I want to make my Alien Head Louder. I removed the Baffle but that was TOO loud, I replaced baffle but without the Fiberglass Packing, I TOTALLY LOVE the sound this way... I'm Curious though..
Will this cause any problem with my Engine performance? Will I gain or loose any Horsepower? Will this cause any damage to my Engine or Exhaust? Will I have to now go on a Dyno and get a custom Map? Or will My Brocks Street Map work fine? Thanks Mark R.

No, it will not cause problems.
It won't really effect hp.
No, it will not damage the engiine or the exhaust.
Our map will work fine, you don't have to get it dyno tuned, it might effect the map a tiny bit, so if you want to get every little bit out of it you might get it tuned, but it will be fine if you don't want to.

hey can you guys tell me what HP Figures your bikes were making with these two Maps?
TRACK MAP- for use on the drag strip with air cleaner removed (or with a BMC or K&N RACE filter) using oxygenated race fuel (MR9, MR11, MR12, MRX01 etc.) STREET MAP- for use on the street with air stock cleaner installed using any pump gas, any octane--we use BP or Shell 87 Octane for continuous use, drag strip etc. (or 89-93 Octane, especially in hot climates/heavy traffic situations etc.) with great results. |
