I installed Brock's CT Dual Titanium full system on my new 2012 ZX14r. Since it only had about 150 miles on it when I removed the stock pipes, and installed the Brock Duals, did not really realize this bike has a built-in high speed idle rpm of about 1500 rpm when initially doing a cold start.
My bike always goes to 1500 rpm for almost a minute and then settles down to the normal 1100 rpm idle speed which is where I like it to be. After several e mails to Brock regarding my concerns, Brock took the time to actually make a video of his dyno developmental ZX14R and sent me the actual cold start-up procedure via e mail! Lo and behold his test bike does exactly like mine!! I was much relieved that mine was operating normally as it should. This is the kind of quality control Brock bestows to his customers when they have concerns..either real or imagined! No one in the motorcycle industry goes to this much trouble and concern to make sure his customers are happy and satisfied with their sold products. So, guys when you buy your goodies from Brock, you not only get the product in the mail, but you get him personally if necessary, to become involved in your satisfaction. It only costs 10% more to go first class...and in my case it was worth every penny! Brock, thanks again, keep building HP, we are glad we have you and your staff available for service after the sale! I will refer all my riding buddies to consider you first when wanting to increase performance... Brock.....and staff.....The Tip of the Spear!! David aka Ninjawarrior |
