   BDE, a classy company!
As a new BDE Dealer, I recently took delivery of a BDE Gen-3 Exhaust from UPS for a customer of mine. The box was not crushed nor punctured so I didn't open it in front of the UPS man (my mistake). Later, when I did open it, I discovered that both primary header tube assemblies had small but noticeable "dings" in them despite an abundance of packing materials. As an ex-fabricator of custom exhaust systems, I knew that the relatively hard stainless tubing had taken some very hard impacts to deform that much. The dents clearly would not affect performance measurably but I couldn't bring myself to ship them to my customer in THAT condition. So, I took a few digital photos and sent them via email to Brock along with a request for guidance about how to handle the situation. Without delay, I got a reply from Brock. He asked me to make a damage claim with UPS, which I soon did, and he advised me that another set of primary tubes would be shipped to me immediately, at no charge to me...!
A couple of days later, UPS picked up the dinged tubes for "damage claim inspection" and delivered the new replacement tubes to me, just as Brock promised. In spite of the fact that Brock didn't know if UPS would actually reimburse HIM for the damage, he didn't hesitate to take care of his customer--ME and MY customer.
Folks of this forum, that is a class act from a company that also produces superior performance products.
