it's me and i want to say thanks for all the patience and time that you spent with me on trying to get my bike running like all the rest. i really appreciate it and i know that in the end we started to get to each other. i wanted my bike to run and you wanted me to listen. well i took it out of town because i cant get good work here and  it cost a bit but the bike made 183 on motor and 188 with neutec. While there the guy was very nice and curteous. He did something that noone here will ever do. He lets you come in the back of the shop and see what he's doing and even shows you how to work on your bike. That i felt was great. After making a map on the dyno he tried different changes and everything i already knew from the forum showed up. small stacks all the way across= loss in torque and hp down low and up top, superbike mike bored throttle bodies=loss in hp and torque down lop and hp up top. moving cams to 107 instead of 102 like they call for= 3ftpds torque off idle until about 9000rmp then you gain 1hp but torque goes into the lost abyss. It was wild because eveything that was done outside of what you said did nothing but hurt the busa. after all was done because i had to pay for the cams to lose hp and then get it back but was glad to see the busa perform 183 pm 87 pctane was tremendous. i emailed a dyno chart becuase i dont know how to post but i will say this to those that read. If brock didnt say do it, dont do it. all your doing is wasting money and time. i learned that. went out and played with some of the guys when i got home and im back in the front where i belong. the man wanted to sell me those big air rams for the front of the bike but since brock said i dont need them i didnt get them. now my friend has them and sometimes when i concentrate hard enough i can see them in my mirrors when were rididng. thanks again brock love your gen3 and the rest of the bde products my bike posses. ps the wifey just got a 12 and i want to know do you have a pipe for that and whats the deal i keep hearing the hindle steep but didnt see your name on it so what results will i get with it and is that the one that you have for it?

Good to hear you got your bike running how it should. You did right in taking it where you did, that guy is one of the best in the biz.  But your comment "you couldn't get good help around here"?  I couldn't fix it over the phone dude, and it seemed like you had talked about it enough already.  Brock gave you my # just so another set of eyes could try to help.

I would like to get together soon and try that bike out against mine.  I seem to have worked out a few bugs last weekend and it is hungry.

DirtyO,

Thanks for the kind words!

Sorry our schedule doesn't allow us to provide instant results/repair....we concentrate on the product line of our business 95% with ALL remaining time (nights/weekends and any other waking hours!) going towards R &D.

The StreetSmart Owners Group outlines what we find during the R&D process. The customer just needs to follow it…If we do our job properly, you don’t need our services!

Repairs are a different matter; we don’t fix broken bikes, so we can only provide information to apply to fully functional machines.

We only refer the best people we know when a situation like this arises, who care about you results as much as we do.

Glad it all worked out….pretty nice power out of a stocker with cams!

Brock

Ps. most guys have no idea what it costs to learn on your own. We spend THOUSANDS of dollars to purchase parts to test exactly how you just did. Not to mention the Hundreds of man hours. It is the only way to obtain the results we need to provide to our customers.

Now, if we could only create a way to lead performance-minded horses to water…..and MAKE them drink the knowledge…

I would have more time for R & D and they would have faster motorcycles and fewer headaches!

first and foremost i just want to thank brock again for such great products wich i have to send my headers back and get fixed damn thing came up in second gear unexpected and needless to say you know what happened when it came down. but hey i dont mind when i know the busa is running. it felt good at the time but i knew disaster was approaching when i couldnt see over the windscreen and had to hit the back brake. oh well. now for the reply that i just read. i asked many people about the busa and first and foremost everyone said that the bike wont make more than 167. so if thats the case the bike wasnt broken and running correctly. then they said to make over 170 without motor work was impossible. on top of that they gave me all kinds of reasons from spinning a bearing to a tiight chain. one guy said tha t the mph was good that i had. and not one person that i spoke with besides brock said that it would make the horsepower that i have. so i did the best thing. found someone that knows what theyre doing with the equipment to fix the busa and the know how. and it felt good to have the bike there getting done properly. i felt reassured the whole time and learned so much. im sure the same would have happened if the bike went to brocks except i wouldnt have had actual experience with some changes because he knows what works. i truly understand what he goes through because we spent a day with just a few mods trying to see what works and what doesnt and hell i was tired from just that. to try and design a pipe i could imagine. has for calling me out and your bike being hungry. messing with me you would go starving. right now my bike is in hiding. dont know who but my friends bike was just stolen after the storm. went out suffolk and smithfield and beat the sh*t out of the worked on busa and 12's that are suppose to run so fast. and thanks to brock(because i made enough over there to pay for most of all my bde products) and after duplicating the same on my friends bike racing people like you that do all this work and think that theyre flying. lol well the fun was over two days later when his bike left. so i took mine and have it stashed for now P.S. if i find the fool that kicked in my garage door i will defintely resolve that with the quickness best believe but thankfully the bike wasnt there. damn shame some have to steal the next mans bike. But back to the subject you want some of the grey hound we can do this im a streetracer. oh by the way i see brandon handed you some ass whoopings at the track lol. how do you get beat by a stock bike lol. you have brock thinking that your flying when all your doing is making dyno numbers. i say this any bike with head work and cams should run 900s to high 8's. hell johnny took my bike and ran your numbers so if you want me im not hard to find but hey bring a full bottle because i havent had a natural aspirated bike run with the busa yet. roy told me you like to take big motor bikes and run stock bikes. and nothing makes me feel better to cut your head off at the line and starting counting your money has i shift through the gears.

Dirty O,

You are correct!!

I saw the bike in action at the track....Hell, I rode it!

MUCH more impressive on the Dyno....

Once I get him to listen to ALL OF US about how to get his bike down the track...maybe he will have something for you?!

Brock

Ps. it’s all about the total package.

Once the Dyno speaks, the FAR more difficult task of getting the bike down the track has to be addressed. (How many 300+ HP turbo bikes , owned by NORMAL guys, have you watched run mid nines...at over 155 mph?!)

We have many products and expertise in this area....all you need to do is listen.

As DirtyO knows....We do not have any intention of steering a guy in the wrong direction to make a buck.

I personally get VERY irritated when a piece of advice goes in one ear and out the other…..I don’t have time.

Ouch,  You need to check out Brandons "stock busa".  He goes 8.80's on that thing.  That is one bad azz stock bike.  I know that bike pretty well..  He was talking S#*T. and said I could have the bottom bulb for $100.  It came down a pro tree, and we went heads up.    He ran a 9.19, and I ran a 9.28 I couldn't convince him that if it went right I would have his money, and he said he would never race me anything than heads up again.  Oh well.    I am going to be out on the street this Sunday afternoon with three bikes.   If you want to get up with us this weekend give me a call 636-0169.

I am sorry to hear about your buddies bike missing and the attempt on yours.  If he wants to put a pic and reward or what ever Sport Cycle Center has a board he can post it on.  If you find out who it was PLEASE invite Jody and I over.  He has had three windows knocked out of the shop this year and a truck drove in the front of the store at 4 in the morning a couple weeks back trying to steel some bikes.  So far this person has done $5000  in damage and not taken anything.

Brock,    The only thing I don't have of yours is a clutch mod, and I told you I would put it in this winter when I freshen up the motor.  Oh, yea you were right about the dirt bike wheel sizes.  I'll buy the beer next time.

Matt
