just got an '08 zx-10 and with 300 miles on  it  i  installed Brocks alien head and power commander. the difference was way more than i expected, what a blast to ride. so smooth through all the gears and an awesome sound. thanks Brock for a great product that was easy to install with no problems at all.

We strive for our customers to be more than happy with our products as well as mapping to go along with your new system.  We spend countless hours on the dyno and at the track testing and making maps so you do not have to.

jason, the track day was great, ate the tires up big time. only problem i had was on deceleration the bike would pop or backfire thru the exhaust. it didnt do it all the time, usually coming down from some high rpm's and braking for a corner. any ideas?

Did you block your pair valve when installing the pipe?  The black plug that should have been sent with your exhaust system should be placed at the front of the airbox where the vacuum line runs in.  It is very simple to do...I should have instructions on our site by the end of the day.

Ok...check the throttle bodies for leaks around the boots.  Some of the 14s were found to have this problem.  Kawasaki's have backfiring problems when an aftermarket exhaust system is installed.  With the stock pipes you cannot hear the back fire because of the baffling.  Ivan makes a TRE for the ZX14 that causes this to stop but it also kills power.  He has not yet released this to the public for a ZX10.  Also, it requires removing the secondary butterflies which up to this point we have found is not necessary on the 2008 ZX10R.  I hope this helps somewhat let me know if the throttle bodies were the culprit.

That’s what we tell customers...Don't worry about it, it will not hurt anything.  Let me know if you need anything else.
