525 will be fine on the street, going to a prepped track the stronger tensile strength of the 530 would be best. We converted to a 530 but there are no 530 rear sprockets for the OEM BMW wheel, we installed BST wheels and used 530 rear sprocket for BST's. I'm starting to do some drag racing on the street with my 2010 S1000rr. I have a stock 525 chain set up right now.
